Hey. I’m Rachel

A documentary wedding photographer based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve captured weddings across Wiltshire, the Cotswolds, and beyond, focusing on real, heartfelt moments that tell each couple’s story in a relaxed and timeless way.
FOR COUPLES WHO WANT TO FEEL PRESENT NOT POSED
My love for photography began with a GCSE in the subject, and I quickly discovered my passion for capturing people; those quiet, candid moments of connection that make weddings so unique. I’m drawn to venues with beautiful outdoor spaces, natural light, and plenty of character. My couples tend to love the outdoors, enjoy music and good company, and value photography as a way to relive their day for years to come.
My approach is calm and intuitive; I blend in with your guests and guide you gently when needed, so you can focus on enjoying your day. The result? Images that feel effortless, genuine, and true to you.
I grew up surrounded by horses and open skies, and the outdoors has always been my sanctuary. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me walking, playing my guitar, or dreaming of my next adventure. I love connection, meaningful conversations, and the energy of a lively room; all the little things that inspire the moments I capture.
As a Wiltshire wedding photographer, I specialise in capturing raw, unposed moments that reveal who you truly are.

My own love story…
You’re giving me the honour of capturing yours, it’s only fair that I share mine!
We met in a gym 11 years ago
I taught Zumba and he was a personal trainer who got me into training with weights. He’s the kindest person I know and is constantly putting me & our little boy first. We still love going to the gym together and he’s my favourite gym buddy!

We moved in together after 6 months and rented a small two bed house
4 years later I fell pregnant and we bought our first home. Rich proposed on the beach in 2020, after 7 years of being together and it was such a special moment! We love nothing more than adventures as a family of 3 and over the last 6 years, we’ve enjoyed many weekend trips in our camper van and more recently, holidays abroad.
Our wedding day. 9 years after it all began, we had the most perfect wedding.
Nothing fancy, no grand venue or anything along those lines but to us it was perfect. We’d known each other almost a decade at this point. 10 years of growing together, of navigating through life together, experiencing each other as new parents and all those little moments in between. Our wedding day was a big celebration to all of this and a promise to keep growing together as a couple.
The rest is yet to come…

Orchardleigh Estate Winter Wedding
There are some weddings that stay with you long after you’ve delivered the gallery, and Eleanor and Niall’s winter wedding at Orchardleigh Estate was one of them. On a bright November day, surrounded by crisp countryside views, warm fireplaces and the people they love most, they celebrated their marriage in a way that felt effortlessly…

A Relaxed Country Garden Wedding at Pythouse Kitchen Garden
Some weddings just instantly feel like your kind of day. Lizzie and Jack’s wedding at Pythouse Kitchen Garden in Wiltshire was exactly that for me. Relaxed, emotional, stylish without trying too hard, and completely centred around actually enjoying the day rather than turning it into one long photoshoot. From the moment I arrived at The…

How to Get the Most Out of 4 Hour Wedding Photography
If you’re planning a smaller or more relaxed wedding, you might be wondering: Is 4 hours of wedding photography enough? The short answer is yes, with the right timings. More couples are choosing short wedding photography coverage to keep costs down or because their day is more intimate. The key to making a 4 hour…
