A CHRISTMAS WEDDING AT KIN HOUSE
As the winter chill settles in, there is something magical about a Christmas wedding at Kin House. The crackling of real fireplaces, the twinkle of festive decorations, and the cozy atmosphere all come together to create the perfect setting for a truly special day.
Picture this: the bride and groom exchanging vows in front of an 18th century fireplace adorned with gorgeous festive foliage, and a huge twinkling Christmas tree in the corner. Surrounded by loved ones, Harriet & Joe had a personalised wedding led by their celebrant Verity. Later on, they came together with just 2 witnesses to go through the legal part of their wedding with their registrars.
The intimate setting of Kin House lends itself perfectly to capturing those precious moments of love and joy and I was very excited to be a part of this beautiful day. But what truly sets a wedding at Kin House apart is the unique mix of modern elegance and Manor House charm.
Kin House features an eclectic interior designed by Barlow & Barlow, with antique furniture and bold colours. The way the light filters through the windows, the way the shadows dance on the walls – these are the moments I live for as a wedding photographer, especially when I need to capture couple portraits inside. With the weather being a little crazy in December, we had a day of rain and gusty winds so we took advantage of the inside space before stepping outside later on to capture a few sunset photos.
Kin House rests on 10 acres of gardens and woodlands and is the perfect backdrop for couples seeking an exclusive, luxury wedding venue. I would love to come back here for a summer wedding and make more of the grounds.
