Highcliffe Beach Family Photography
2021 ended on a high for me with this amazing family session at Highcliffe beach in Dorset. It was one of those sessions where we had to keep pushing it back because of the great British weather, so we were super lucky to get a date in at the end of September where we had an epic sunset. It was the last time I felt the sand on my feet before autumn settled in and every time I look at these images I feel so excited for all my 2022 sessions I have coming up. Especially if you’ve booked a beach session!
This year for me is (hopefully) about starting travel sessions. If you follow me on instagram you’ll see I have the van now and once it’s converted, I would love to visit more of England and book some sessions along the way. Locations are so important to me when shooting family sessions as I can easily tire of shooting with the same backgrounds. I like lots of different textures to work with and to find these I need to go further afield. This is all based on me having the van converted of course!
Last year I spent a lot of time in Dorset shooting families on Hengistbury Head beach but this time I wanted something different. What I love most about Highcliffe beach is its forest backdrop. This against the sand makes it such great place to shoot families and for my beach sessions this year, this is where I’ll be.
