Newborn Photographer Newbury

As a newborn and baby photographer, I was excited to be returning to Newbury to capture Michelle’s gorgeous new addition to her family, baby Bella. I’ve captured Michelle and her two sisters so many times, I’ve lost count. I photographed Michelle and Lee’s maternity session as well as their first baby Teddy and now I’m sharing the images from their second newborn photography session. Once again, I haven’t kept up to date with my blog so I can’t link those sessions for you here but I’ve included a few images from those sessions below and if you head over to my instagram account, you might be able to recognise Michelle on the grid.

Both their maternity and Teddy’s newborn session were shot in their old home in Newbury, which at the time they were renovating. This session was shot in their new home, and again, they were in the middle of renovating. I love how they choose houses with such great light, perfect for in-home photography sessions.

We did have to reschedule this session twice due to various illnesses (on both sides) so technically Bella wasn’t exactly a newborn when I captured her. But I do love to capture slightly older babies. Although they are still happy to fall asleep, they also they spend more time awake and if I’m lucky, I’ll even get a little smile out of them.

If the thought of including your toddler in your newborn photography session puts you off, please don’t let it! Of course involving younger children in this type of session comes with its challenges, but I can assure you with a little bit of bribing, we will get some great family images as well as some cute newborn ones. Just look at Teddy with his baby sister!
